Founded and headquartered in France, Eco-Counter is driven by a commitment for innovation in ground truth data collection—empowering organisations with actionable insights that support informed decision‑making and effective communication in the Active Travel and Transport sectors.From leading cities advancing active travel to some of the world’s most scenic natural areas, our clients share a common goal: creating better places for people in a Happier, Healthier and Greener way.As part of our continued growth, Eco‑Counter recently acquired Traffic Technology, our UK‑based distributor.We are now recruiting a New Business Development Manager, based out of Traffic Technologies offices in Silverstone, who will be fully dedicated to promoting and selling Eco‑Counter’s solutions to new clients across the UK market.This role offers a unique opportunity to join a purpose‑driven, national & international team working in a growing field—where you can see the real‑world impact of your work.NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - SILVERSTONE - FULL TIMEAt Eco Counter, the Business Developer is the curious explorer who meets the leaders and innovators of mobility and helps them turn ideas into real‑world impact.Key ResponsibilitiesWorking with the General Manager to develop and deliver New Business Development strategies which identify and target new business opportunities within the Active Travel and Transport market and expose the Eco‑Counter organisation to prospective new clients.Drive new business development through proactive outreach methodology, professional presentation with swift responses to created opportunities.Win new business by developing a strong understanding of client needs, identifying and recommending the most suitable Eco‑Counter solutions which exceed client requirements and deliver long‑term recurring revenue.Engage with and meet decision‑makers in cities, counties, national parks, and other public bodies—building long‑term relationships and becoming their trusted solution expert to ensure Eco Counter solutions are always their preferred choice.Attend industry events, conferences to develop market knowledge, competitor activity and network decision‑makers to monitor and report on industry regulations, government incentives, and new technologies.Provide support throughout the business development lifecycle, from initial client interaction to deal support and documentation.Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to gather market intelligence and support brand presence.What We’re Looking ForA real sales “Hunter” with a passion for delivering new sales and driving exceptional customer experience.Someone who “loves the thrill of the chase” with excellent ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and accessible way.Someone who will go the “extra mile” with an “ABC” mindset and sales approach with a demonstrable track record in successful NBD sales roles.5‑10 years experience of working in the Public sector with a strong interest in active transportation, sustainability, or public space planning and established contacts in the urban or nature sectors would be a real positive.If you have the above Sales Skill set and experience of the Active Travel, Transport and Road Safety sectors and how these impact a Greener, Safer and Healthier environment you could be an ideal candidate.Willingness to travel across UK with occasional international visits.About YouCurious, driven, self‑motivated and eager to learn.Skilled at listening, identifying opportunities, and offering tailored advice.Able to manage multiple projects and timelines independently.Enjoys solving problems and finding efficient ways to deliver.Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.Comfortable using CRM and Sales performance tools to accurately report on activity, build and deliver from a pipeline.What We OfferThe opportunity to join an innovative international company with a meaningful global mission with demonstrable growth & profitability.A supportive and collaborative work environment with an open people and trusting culture.Op for professional development and travel.Competitive salary and benefits (to be discussed based on ability and experience). #J-18808-Ljbffr
