This transformation will consist of expert fragrance teams with the skills to design and formulate winning fragrances.**JOB PURPOSE**Our mission as the Fragrance Innovation team is to elevate consumers’ experiences by delivering delightful fragrances. We have several exciting opportunities for Fragrance Experts, with not only a passion for fragrance, but a passion to create rewarding experiences for the consumers we serve; and in doing so making a positive difference to their lives.You will be leading the Global Fragrance Design projects for Unilever, working as the interface between perfumers, category teams and Fragrance House partners, to deliver excellence in all aspects of cross-category perfumery.**RESPONSIBILITIES**The focus of the Fragrance Design Manager is to lead and evaluate fragrance creation and selection, being the fragrance expert within a wide range of functions (R&D, marketing, supply management). The core responsibilities of the role are:* Lead projects to create superior fragrances for Unilever Brands Globally + Defining the creative fragrance vision, and strategy. + Building and executing the projects and programs + Being the evaluation partner with perfumers + Assessing and refining to be the most superior & performing fragrances* Lead and collaborate with a fragrance team in the development of fragrances for key global brands, products and proactive programs to win in the market* Translate fragrance trends, consumer insights, category strategy and an in-depth understanding of our brands in the markets in which they exist into fragrance briefs to inspire the best from perfumers* Ensure fragrance regulatory and safety compliance across all markets* Work in close collaboration with all of the interfaces (formulation, brand, procurement), to optimise fragrance delivery and improve value.* Analyse fragrance market research & sensory data in collaboration with our insights & R&D team to refine fragrance recommendations.* Prepare presentations for internal and external stakeholders**ALL ABOUT YOU*** Industry experience in fragrance evaluation and development, in a Fragrance House would be an advantage* The job requires a high level of olfactive ability coupled with an inquisitive passion to understand consumer preference in fragrance, being their voice in the creation of new fragrances* Able to prioritize complex workloads, seamlessly working across multiple time zones and self-motivate.* Excellent stakeholder management skills, using positive influence to gain support for transformational programmes* Experience in managing individuals* **A born leader:** This job requires the candidate to be an empowered leader in order to operate with independence and agility.
