Anticipated Contract End Date / Length: 12 months with potential to extend Work Set Up: Open to UK but must be proficient in Chinese and English with ability to overlap with part of the Chinese work day. Our client a leading global financial infrastructure and data provider is looking for a specialist to support the transformation of the Simplified Chinese website to drive commercial growth. You will work with global teams to implement the digital transformation strategy and you’ll collaborate with local teams to review and approve Simplified Chinese translations. To excel in this position outstanding Simplified Chinese and English language communication skills (written and spoken) are vital. Strong stakeholder and project management capabilities with an eye for detail flexibility and adaptability with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Highly motivated with a positive demeanour is also desirable. Additionally being technically savvy able to learn new concepts and technologies quickly would be an advantage. What You Will Do Handle the creation updating and enhancements of web page content on the Simplified Chinese site. Plan and execute changes to the site structure partnering with engineering colleagues to enable new features. Work with a translation agency on localising website content. Review translated materials web pages images video transcripts charts documents to ensure accuracy and consistency. Ensure translated content follows SEO best practices. Use a project management tool e.g. Workfront to organise and monitor translation projects and provide status updates to stakeholders. Ensure the website aligns to accessibility guidelines. Support global partners in other time zones with occasional calls outside regular business hours. Qualifications (Essential) Excellent Simplified Chinese and English communication and influencing skills. Experience using a Content Management System preferably Adobe Experience Manager. 1 years of experience handling multi-language websites translation projects content authoring SEO analytics. Strong stakeholder management skills. Exceptional attention to detail highly organized with strong prioritisation and project management skills. Dedicated and able to thrive in a fast-paced high growth environment. Qualifications (Desirable) Track record handling large-scale sophisticated website projects. Knowledge of the full digital marketing mix including SEO SEM A / B testing and personalisation analytics and reporting. Experience creating optimal web experiences and user journeys which follow best practice. Good understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first strategies. Experience using tools like Adobe Analytics Google Analytics Google Search Console and the Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge of online video platforms such as Kaltura and how to handle the translation of video transcripts.
