Our client is a national MEP Consultancy who have been providing technical design and supervisory services to end users and developers for close to 25 years.Be one of the first applicants, read the complete overview of the role below, then send your application for consideration.The business is well known particularly across the residential and distribution sectors, with regional offices situated in both Leeds and Belfast.Alongside traditional mechanical and electrical building services design, they offer their customer base a range of supervisory duties as the eyes and ears of the scheme once projects hit site, from monitoring contractors through to witnessing, commissioning and snagging.With new projects due to commence in the early part of 2026, the business is looking to attract an experienced Electrical Building Services Engineer who can help lead projects and provide a confident client facing service.The appointed Electrical Engineer could be from an M&E Consultancy background and seasoned in the design of cable sizing and lighting calcs etc, or potentially from an M&E Contactor with a strong design awareness to check drawings, whilst offering strong project management skills and navigating the commercial challenges once installation commences.The appointed Engineer will need to promote a confident demeanour, driving results and achieving deadlines.Many of the schemes are large in size, meaning many companies and engineering disciplines working together to achieve both individual and collective targets at any one time, with clear and concise communication, positive collaboration and setting realistic expectations absolutely key.Applications are invited from technically competent and professionally qualified Electrical Building Services Engineers who enjoy managing projects and coordinating key information. xsabvtc Whilst predominantly an office based job, there will be need to visit sites across the UK to build relationships and offer a client facing service, therefore the position will best suit an Engineer comfortable attending sites and contributing to meetings and performance reviews.The company operates hybrid working and also able to facilitate remote working opportunities for those living elsewhere within the UK.
