A Fantastic Opportunity: Street Works Administration Assistant This role will be 37 hours per week based over seven days, so some weekend work will apply. This role is a fundamental part of SP ENW’s commitment to minimise the financial and reputational risks associated with street works non‑compliance and to support the company objective of achieving street works excellence. Responsibilities End-to-end administrative process for permits Urgent or non-urgent SLG & reinstatement defects Related fines or costs Traffic management coordination & requests Issue of work instructions for reinstatement including variations Defective apparatus related queries Act as an interface between internal & external stakeholders Support the business in company incentives & changes to legislation Respond to and resolve defective apparatus requests Support the business in the event of environmental incidents What We’re Looking For Previous administrative experience (essential) Flexibility to work on weekends & bank holidays as part of a rota (essential) Comfortable and competent to work alone or as part of agile working (essential) Good understanding of NRSWA, TMA (Traffic Management Act) and its associated legislation & codes of practice including SROH, The Safety Code etc. Adaptable and flexible working style with the ability to respond to changing situations and areas of work (essential) Customer focus with the ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders (essential) Working knowledge of computers and mobile devices (essential), experience of Symology Aurora & Street Manager (desirable) What We’re Offering An annual bonus scheme 25 days annual leave increasing with length of service Private Healthcare Employee rewards portal offering discounts on several well-known brands Market-leading contributory pension scheme Employee assistance programme Opportunity for professional development through our L&D function Job Details Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Administrative Industries: Utilities Should you require any additional support with your application, or any adjustments please contact our Recruitment team at careers@enwl.co.uk or on 0845 366 0092 (option 2).
