Vehicle Technical Support Specialist Location: Manchester – Hybrid About The Role We currently lease out over 180,000 vehicles in the UK that, from time to time, need maintenance, servicing and repair. In this role, your main focus will be to ensure vehicle downtime is kept to a minimum, while also providing technical support to both internal and external customers, managing technical complaints and assisting the wider Fleet Services teams. Key Responsibilities You will be required to authorise work requests via the 1Link system. Challenge suppliers and suggest alternative more cost‑effective solutions. Build and maintain relationships with internal customers, drivers and garages. Update systems and databases accurately. What We’re Looking For Ideally, you will be a qualified motor vehicle technician with an NVQ Level 2/3 (or equivalent) and knowledge of the 1Link system. LCV (Light Commercial Vehicle) experience would be a bonus. Skills Impressive communication (verbal & written) skills. Qualified (ideally) motor vehicle technician. Efficient and accurate working style. Team player with a strong customer focus. Package We offer a basic starting salary of up to £29,000, plus a bonus of up to £1,100. You will receive 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), an extra day off for your birthday, and the option to purchase an additional 5 days.
