Assessments, formulation, and treatment are provided to support the needs of CYPs in collaboration with the full MDT at CAMHS. Main duties of the job The post holder will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team within Bolton CAMHS. The post holder will be expected to be proactively engaging our young people and their families in order to promote positive relationships. As a Senior CAMHS Mental Health Practitioner, the post holder will provide high standards of evidence based client centred care to children and young people with mental health [CYPMH] problems within the THRIVE Framework for service delivery working within the team alongside our talented therapists, caring case managers and super support workers. The post holder will be expected to provide Assessment, Formulation, Interventions, Advice, and Risk Management. The post holder will be able to discuss all cases in daily huddles and Clinical supervision. The post holder will demonstrate an attitude which respects and values service users’ and their carers. Detailed job description and main responsibilities See attached detailed job description and person specification: Pay Enhancements – 30% additional for Evenings (8pm onwards) and Saturdays and 60% additional for Sundays and Bank holidays. 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays rising to 29 after 5 years and 33 days after 10 years Evidence of further studies or post graduate qualification Experience Experience of mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions with children and young people with mental health problems and their families Skilled in the ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, clinically sensitive information to clients, their families, carers and other professional colleagues both within and outside the NHS Experience of working with a wide variety of patient groups that reflect the full range of clinical severity including a high degree of professionalism in the face of emotive and distressing problems Experienced in and the ability to undertake case management and the supervision of students as required Knowledge of the theory and practice of specialist therapies in specific difficult to treat groups.
