Our dedicated AMHP team is led by a single point of contact for all daytime Mental Health Act assessments across the county, ensuring consistency and collaboration. What makes this role unique? Follow patients through their full journey, from hospital admission to discharge and reintegration into the community. Work four days per week, including one 8 AM–8 PM shift. Carry a small, focused caseload to maintain quality and continuity of care. Apply your professional skills in complex ethical and legislative contexts. What we’re looking for Enthusiastic, qualified AMHPs with a commitment to continuous development. Flexibility to work evenings and participate in an out-of-hours standby rota. A valid driving licence and access to your own transport. Contract: Permanent, full time 37 hrs per week. Salary: £45,091 – £49,282 (dependent on experience) with annual increments. You will be based at County Hall, Morpeth, but we offer flexible hybrid working options. Benefits 26 days annual leave plus public/bank holidays, rising to 31 days after 5 years of continuous service (pro‑rata for part‑time employees). Automatic enrolment into the Local Government Pension Scheme. Flexi scheme – up to 2 days flexible leave available per month (pro‑rata for part‑time employees).
