Level 3 Teaching Assistant Location: SolihullDuration: Full time, ongoingSalary: £85 – £100 per day The School/Role A specialist SEN primary school in Solihull is currently seeking a full-time 1:1 Teaching Assistant. This supportive and inclusive school caters to students who experience social, emotional, and mental health difficulties, alongside other needs such as ASD, ADHD, and speech or language challenges. The ideal candidate for a TA role should: Demonstrate experience or a strong interest in supporting children with SEMH and related needs Possess prior experience collaborating within a specialist or mainstream SEN setting Exhibit flexibility, proactivity, and patience Show nurturing and compassionate qualities in their approach Communicate effectively within a team and remain calm under pressure A new enhanced DBS will be needed for this role or a subscription to the DBS update service. Requirements: Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification PECS and Makaton training/experience (desirable) Experience with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, or behavioural needs Level 1 Safeguarding Certificate Recent school-based references Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or Passport Full Enhanced DBS – on the update service How to Apply?
