We partner with some of the world's most influential financial institutions, providing bespoke insurance solutions that mitigate their risks and secure their future. What you'll do Drive Growth: Deliver financial KPIs for new and existing business, contributing meaningfully to the annual FIG budget and achieving individual performance targets. Cultivate Relationships: Develop and nurture new and existing FIG insurance client relationships in line with Group strategy and risk appetite, acting as the primary contact point and ensuring the highest level of customer care. Expand Our Reach: Introduce new insurance clients to DBS and broaden product penetration with existing clients, focusing on complex risk solutions and building holistic relationships across various insurance product lines and risk management services, leveraging DBS's wider financial product offerings. Strategic Execution: Identify, evaluate, execute, and monitor complex insurance program placements, including structuring tailored insurance solutions and exploring alternative risk transfer mechanisms. Risk Management: Act as an effective first line of defence, ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new clients, maintaining a robust approach to due diligence, and providing comprehensive risk assessments for ongoing portfolio management. Operate within a robust Credit, Legal, and AML framework, adhering to DBS credit policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations (e.g., FCA, PRA, MAS). Collaborate for Success: Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across product partners (including Global Financial Markets (GFM) and Global Transaction Services (GTS), legal, compliance, credit risk, and industry teams globally. What you'll bring Experience: Significant experience in a similar client-facing role within a major financial institution, ideally from a banking organization with exposure to corporate and/or institutional clients, and a strong background in corporate and/or institutional insurance, risk management. Previous experience within a similar client facing role is highly desirable. Expertise: A deep understanding of the structural aspects of corporate insurance programs, market trends, and risk exposures. Excellent knowledge of various insurance products, including structured and bespoke solutions. Familiarity with financial markets products, structured solutions, and hedging is a plus. Track Record: Proven ability to deliver comprehensive insurance solutions to large corporations and/or institutional clients, with a strong track record of achieving targeted cross-sell. Education: A degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or another related field. Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and under tight deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Right to Work: You must have the right to work in the UK and do not require sponsorship now or in the future.
