Assistant Professor of Spanish Ref: 41929 (Part Time, Fixed Term Maternity Cover) We are seeking to appoint an Associate Professor of Spanish to contribute to teaching, scholarship and administration in the Department of Language Studies (Modern Languages). About The Role General teaching expectations include contributing to teaching and module convening on undergraduate Spanish language modules on the Modern Language electives and pathways at beginner and intermediate level. Additional responsibilities include undertaking administrative responsibilities and convening, planning, teaching and marking/moderating assessments in these subject areas. About You The postholder will work closely with colleagues in Modern Languages and will have the skills to manage your own workload. You will communicate clearly with the team, line management and stakeholders. You hold a master’s or postgraduate qualification in a relevant field. About Our School The Faculty of Media, Arts and Humanities (MAH) comprises subjects spanning philosophy, languages, history, media, film, music and drama.
