Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager (Practice Accountancy) Job Title: Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager Salary: Up to £60,000 Location: Kent (Hybrid Working) A well‑established, mid‑sized accountancy practice in Kent is seeking an experienced Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager to join their expanding team. Role Overview As an Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in managing a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of industries. You will support the delivery of audit assignments, review accounts preparation work, oversee junior team members, and contribute to the continued growth of the practice. Key Responsibilities Manage and deliver audit assignments from planning through to completion Review statutory accounts, management accounts, and tax computations Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing proactive advice and building strong relationships Supervise, mentor, and support junior team members, providing on‑the‑job training Ensure compliance with auditing and accounting standards, as well as internal processes Assist in growing the firm’s client base through excellent service and professional conduct Work closely with senior management to improve processes and contribute to team strategy Skills & Experience Required Experience within a UK practice environment Strong audit and accounts preparation background Confident in managing client relationships and leading small teams Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to the wider team Excellent organisational and communication skills A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Accounting / Auditing Industries: Accounting #J-18808-Ljbffr
