As a Technical Advisor, you will support users, maintain datasets, and contribute to system improvement projects. Responsibilities Set up and manage users Support users and resolve issues, especially during transition to the new My Environment application Update, improve, and maintain datasets Respond to internal and external data requests Support system improvement and upgrade projects Analyse and improve data that underpins our work Provide training and participate in incident response duties Qualifications Experience working with large complex datasets Willingness to develop and learn new technical skills and apply them across monitoring data and systems Motivated, organized, friendly, helpful, detail‑oriented, comfortable working in a dispersed team environment Proactive and problem‑solving mindset Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to convey complex technical information to technical and non‑technical audiences Ability to build and maintain strong relationships, deliver through others and provide excellent customer service Desirable Experience/Skills Experience using and managing environmental monitoring data systems Experience using PowerBI, Access, Excel, Python, SharePoint Online and R Working knowledge of water quality monitoring Equal Employment Opportunity The Environment Agency is fully committed to having an inclusive workforce that reflects the communities we serve.
