Role Description This is a full-time, on‑site Support Worker role based in Hull, . The Support Worker will be responsible for providing compassionate care and assistance to young people and service users, supporting them in their daily activities and helping to build their independence. Duties include assisting with personal care, promoting emotional well‑being, developing life skills, supporting education or vocational training initiatives, and ensuring a safe and respectful living environment. The role also involves collaboration with local authorities, healthcare professionals, and community resources to provide comprehensive care plans for the individuals under your supervision. Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with young people, service users, families, and professional teams Capacity to assist with personal care and daily living activities while maintaining dignity and respect Experience or training in providing emotional and psychological support Understanding of safeguarding practices, risk assessment, and person‑centered care Organizational and time‑management skills for managing care plans and documentation accurately Ability to collaborate with external professionals, such as local authorities, educators, and therapists Flexibility to work in a 24‑hour staff environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Preferred qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or a related field First Aid certification and knowledge of therapeutic intervention strategies are an advantage #J-18808-Ljbffr
