Portfolio & Transformation Management Office (PMO) Analyst Full‑time (Manchester) At Munich Re Specialty – Global Markets (MRS‑GM), we aim to be the leading Primary Specialty Insurance provider. Your role will support the Portfolio & Transformation Management Office in governing and reporting on our portfolio of projects, including key governance meetings such as the Change Committee and MRSG ExCo (Transformation). Responsibilities Maintain and administer the GoldMine project portfolio management system, train and support users. Support Business Resource Management for informed scheduling of projects and programmes. Manage the Portfolio calendar and prepare meeting packs for Portfolio Governance. Support key portfolio governance meetings: organise meetings, prepare and circulate materials, log decisions and actions. Monitor the shared PMO mailbox, triage requests and forward/flag to owners. Assist in the project assurance process with the PMO Lead. Support portfolio governance services: financial control, reporting, change control, planning, resource, forecasting, benefits management and RAID management. Champion project compliance with organisational standards. Coordinate assurance reviews, provide artefacts and liaise with relevant parties. Maintain governance artefact templates (Proposal, Business Case, Project Charter, Change Requests, Action Closure Documents, etc.). Help implement governance processes for programme/project deliverables. Administer SharePoint “Change Hub”. Coordinate cross‑programme tasks/actions for the PMO Lead. Raise PO requests and approve invoices, liaising with procurement, finance and compliance. Design, produce and improve MI on portfolio performance and trends (finances, earned value, etc.). Support broader COO reporting with Change, Data and Operations Delivery. Advocate good conduct for business to deliver optimal outcomes for customers/policyholders. Perform any additional reasonable duties associated with the role. Knowledge & Skills Experience in project and programme delivery and/or a PMO role. Experience in a Financial Services environment, ideally insurance. Structured and logical thinker, able to plan and organise work coherently. Quality‑driven; continuously challenge outputs and processes for improvement. Operates autonomously while following leadership and making informed judgment calls. Strong coordination and organisational skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Able to manage and communicate with senior stakeholders. Proactive attitude, flagging portfolio‑wide risks and supporting mitigation.
