About the Nursery A lovely nursery in Jesmond is looking for two passionate CACHE Level 3 Early Years Practitioners to join their friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long‑term role with the potential to become permanent, working within a supportive and nurturing environment that values high‑quality childcare and early education. Job Details Location: Jesmond, Newcastle upon TyneStart Date: JanuaryPosition: Full‑time CACHE Level 3 Early Years PractitionersPay: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications Responsibilities Provide high‑quality care and support for children aged 0–5 years Plan and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework Create a warm, stimulating environment where every child can thrive Support daily routines including play, meals, hygiene, and rest Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with families Maintain a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s well‑being Qualifications & Requirements CACHE Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent) Paediatric First Aid certificate – preferred, but not essential (must be willing to obtain) Experience working within a nursery or childcare setting A caring, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children’s development Strong understanding of the EYFS and early years best practice Excellent communication and teamwork skills How to Apply If you’re a qualified and dedicated Early Years Practitioner seeking a new opportunity in a welcoming Jesmond nursery, with the chance to become a permanent member of the team, we’d love to hear from you All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
