Overview WRc are actively recruiting for a Technical Auditor to join the team, to help deliver and drive awareness of WRc Approved - (Water Industry - Engineering & Standards). This is a full time (37 hrs pw), hybrid role based at our office in Swindon. You will be required to come into the office on an adhoc basis, generally at least once a fortnight. You must hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel. The role will involve travel across the UK and internationally. Responsibilities Drive approvals through the internal processes, obtaining and documenting all relevant data from the suppliers to reduce the approval process time for the client. Act as a generalist to help support the technical specialist in creating proposals for clients. Speak with Water Companies and product suppliers to widen the knowledge and awareness of WRc Approved and the benefits this brings. Undertake, witness testing, manufacturing and installation audits both nationally and internationally. Understanding and addressing client needs when designing solutions, while ensuring they meet agreed standards and best practices. Person specification Background in the water industry, manufacturing, mechanical engineering, civil engineering or design engineering is preferable. Background in auditing is also preferable (ideally to ISO 9001). Motivated and proactive to drive approvals forward. Strong stakeholder/client management and engagement skills. Ability to identify business opportunities and build cross-functional teams to develop compelling value propositions. Full UK manual driving license with access to own vehicle.
