Find your future with us.The RoleThis position will be diverse, varied, and fast paced supporting all BDUK Business Units (Vertical Lift, Fixed Wing and Digital), providing valuable analytical insight directly to the Senior Leadership team.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage targeted supply chain projects to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the supply chain organisationConduct macro supply chain risk monitoring and mitigation strategies including future predictions and potential actionsCreate, manage and monitor supply chain performance metrics and implement corrective actions as necessaryOngoing sustainment support to ensure the smooth operation of the Supply Chain ERP system including monitoring and ensuring data accuracySupporting the timely onboarding and maintenance of business partnersProgress chasing on overarching supply chain actions and activities as requiredCritical CompetenciesStrong communication, organisational and collaboration skillsStrong analytical and reporting skillsAbility to manage multiple initiatives and prioritiesSelf‑motivated, results and action orientedAble to make independent and sound decisionsMust be able to work effectively in a team environment as well as on your ownStrive for high standards and first time quality, seeking innovative solutionsDrive continuous improvementRequired Experience/QualificationsExperience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Experience using Excel functions, macros and automated reporting techniquesExperience working with SAP/ERP systemsExperience working effectively in a team environment and influencing othersExperience supporting cross‑functional teamsAbility to acquire UK SC security clearancePreferred QualificationsExperience using advanced Excel functions, macros and automated reporting techniquesLocationPossible Job Locations: Yeovil, Bristol or Gosport, UK.Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
