Job Details After School Club Deputy Manager - Abingdon, Oxfordshire Start Date : ASAP Location St Nicolas Primary School, Boxhill Walk, Abingdon, OX14 1HB Hours 15 hours per week during term time (with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week during our holiday clubs if desired) Operational Hours during Term Time : Monday to Friday - Hours : 15.00 - 18.00 Operational Hours during School Holidays : Monday to Friday - Hours : 8.30 - 17.30 Pay up to £14.50 per hour NB : Extra hours available to cover at our nearby Breakfast Club working 7.30 - 9.00 Contracts Available : Term Time only or Fixed 52 week Permanent contract What’s in it for you? Family friendly hours Responsibilities Support in managing, directing, and assisting team members in their delivery of a safe and effective programme, ensuring a motivated and happy team. Plan and execute structured and exciting activities that encourage maximum participation, such as multi‑sports, games, arts and crafts, structured play, and more ensuring they are age appropriate. Ensure that there is effective communication between your Club Manager, venue, your team, parents, the school or host leisure centre, and Central Operations. Help plan then supervise and deliver planned activities with structure and enthusiasm. Implement our protocols and policies with the team members. Provide inclusive, fun, and engaging care for our children while inspiring them to explore their interests. What does it mean to be a Childcare Deputy Club Manager? You will also implement our protocols and policies with the team members. Compliance and Requirements This role requires compliance with the Keeping Children Safe in Education policy and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA). You must provide two references, one from your most recent employer and the other from a childcare setting (if applicable).
