List size 14,000 +and growing, GMS, Emis Web.We are part of an enthusiastic PCN, working together withlocal practices to achieve better clinical care. Focused on team working,training and continuously developing our staff.Six weeks annual leaveTwo weeks study leaveWednesday, catered clinicallunchesMinimal clinical admin as pharmacists deal withprescriptions and admin and coders deal with most clinical documentsSupport to take on clinical leadership rolesOpportunity to teach medical students,foundation doctors and GP registrarsMain duties of the jobWe utilise a total triage model, so the right patientsare seen by the right clinician at the right time.Low general admin including referrals,correspondence, lab results, and document processing.One duty doctor session per week dealing with onthe day appointments, queries and emergencies.Attendance at practice meetings and training asand when appropriateInsurance reports and other non-GMS work forpatients as requiredMandatory trainingAbout usThe Blithehale Medical Centre is based in Tower Hamlets in Bethnal Green East London. Delivery of highly effective medical care to theentitled populationb. The provision of services commensurate with the GMScontractc. Generic prescribing adhering to local and nationalguidanced. Effective management of long-term conditionse. Processing of administration in a timely manner,including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associatedadministrative tasksf. On a rotational basis, undertake telephone triage andduty doctor roles, working until 6.30pmg. Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction withgood practiceh. Working collaboratively, accepting an equal share ofthe practice workloadi. Adhere to best practice recommended through clinicalguidelines and the audit processj. Contribute to the successful implementation ofcontinuous improvement and quality initiativesk. Accept delegated responsibility for a specific area(or areas) or the QOFl. Attend and contribute effectively to practice meetingsm. Contribute effectively to the development andmaintenance of the practice including; clinical governance, training, financialmanagement and HRn. Ensure compliance with the appraisal processo. Commit to self-learning and instil an ethos ofcontinuing professional development across the practice teamp. Support the training of medical studentsq. Support the partners in achieving the strategic aimsof the practicer. Review and adhere to practice protocols and policiess.
