Business Support Administrator An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Business Support Administrator to join our existing team within Gedling District. Gedling Family Hub Network (including, but not limited to Netherfield Family Hub, NG4 2HU, Calverton Family Hub NG14 6JZ, Arnbrook Family Hub NG5 8NE, Killisick Family Hub NG5 8BY). This is a great time to join our teams as locally we are transforming our Children’s Centre Service into Family Hub Networks. Our work with children 0‑5 years, and their families, remains part of our core offer, and we continue to expand our service offer to 0‑19 years. Salary: £24,413 - £25,185 per annum (pro rata) Type of vacancy: Permanent Work pattern: Part Time Hours per week: 30.5 Work Base: Gedling Family Hub Network Working Arrangements: Office Based Competency Framework: Tier 7a Number of posts: 1 Interview date: Wednesday 21st January 2025 Closing date: 15 December 2025 23:55 Duties Be well organised and able to demonstrate initiative Demonstrate a flexible approach to changing work demands Possess problem‑solving skills Demonstrate good communication skills Work well as part of a team You will also need to be skilled in using a range of IT software including MS Word, Excel, Teams and SharePoint; training will be given on specialist systems that are used within the service. The role will require accurate data inputting. You will be aware of the importance of maintaining confidentiality and acting within the General Data Protection Regulations. Please note that this is an office‑based role due to the need of welcoming families with children, and young people into the building. You will need to hold a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle (a taxi service will be provided where disability precludes this); as there will is a need to travel between sites. The work pattern for this role will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with three days 08:30am‑4:30pm and one day 08:30am‑5:00pm.
