Job Description Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the snacking category to maximise sales and profitability. Manage supplier relationships, ensuring alignment with business goals and securing favourable terms. Analyse market trends and customer insights to identify new opportunities for product development. Monitor category performance and implement adjustments to achieve targets. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of promotions and campaigns. Negotiate contracts and agreements to optimise cost efficiencies and supply chain stability. Oversee the product range, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and market demand. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to procurement and retail. The Successful Applicant A successful Buying Manager - Snacking should have: Proven experience in buying, category management, or procurement within the retail industry. Strong commercial acumen and the ability to interpret market data effectively. Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills. A track record of delivering results in sales growth and profitability. Knowledge of snacking products and trends within the market.
