We are looking for a dedicated Senior Safeguarding Co‑Ordinator to join our Safeguarding Team and provide specialist support across multiple college sites Tower Hamlets, Redbridge and Epping Campuses. You will manage a caseload of students with low‑level safeguarding concerns, ensuring timely and accurate intervention that contributes to a safe and inclusive learning environment. Working closely with Senior Safeguarding Managers, internal teams, and external agencies, you will play a key role in promoting student wellbeing and safeguarding best practices. Responsibilities Provide specialist safeguarding advice and support to pastoral, curriculum, and support staff. Manage a caseload of students with low-level safeguarding concerns, ensuring timely response and accurate record‑keeping. Support restorative practices to improve student behaviour and relationships. Monitor and review support for vulnerable students and contribute to safeguarding referrals and reporting. Participate in supervision and case management reviews. Liaise with external agencies and partner organisations as needed. Contribute to student admissions, enrolment, induction, and tracking processes. Ensure compliance with safeguarding, equality, and data protection policies. Maintain accurate student records and uphold the College's values and strategic objectives. You are a compassionate and organised safeguarding professional with a strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and practices. You bring a student‑centred approach and are confident working collaboratively across teams and agencies. You will have: Qualifications A Safeguarding Level 3 qualification (or equivalent). Knowledge of KCSIE, Prevent Duty, and Working Together to Safeguard Children. Awareness of contextual safeguarding, online safety, and British Values. Experience using safeguarding recording systems (e.g., MyConcern). Strong communication and organisational skills. Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
