Job Title: Driver's Mate Location: Leyland, Lancashire Pay Rate: £12.90 per hour Hours: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Contract Type: Ongoing Temporary Work Start Date: Immediate Role Overview We are looking for a Driver's Mate to assist with the delivery of furniture and goods across Leyland, Preston, and the wider Lancashire area. This role involves working alongside a delivery driver, helping to load and unload items safely and efficiently. No driving is required for this position. Key Responsibilities Assist the driver with loading and unloading furniture and goods. Ensure items are handled carefully to avoid damage. Help with navigating delivery locations and providing excellent customer service. Maintain a safe working environment during lifting and moving tasks. Requirements Physically fit to lift heavy items safely. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Good team player with excellent communication skills. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential. Benefits Competitive pay (£12.90 per hour). Immediate start available. Ongoing temporary work with consistent hours.
