Responsibilities Negotiating rent reviews and lease renewals on operational and sublet properties Managing stand alone and multi‑occupied buildings - retail and industrial Levying and payment of service charges on the properties within portfolio Negotiating the settlement of terms for the restructuring of leases and advising in connection with all estate matters arising under existing leases Inspections of properties and the supplying reports in connection the estate management matters Letting of vacant properties including appointing and managing external surveyors Negotiating the purchase and disposal of property interests The preparation of estimates of income and expenditure for capital and revenue accounts and an ability to monitor budgets Negotiating amicable resolutions to property management matters that arise under existing leases Appointing and overseeing building surveyors on Party Wall and Dilapidations matters Liaising with Property Department regarding repairs, maintenance and refurbishment projects Take a proactive approach to resolving issues as and when they arise Qualifications Extensive experience in a similar role. Drive and tenacity to deliver the highest level of performance. Strong business acumen. Excellent communication and influencing skills particularly with stakeholders and with external audiences. Highly organised with the ability to work calmly under pressure and manage multiple demands whilst maintaining quality and accuracy. Demonstrable logical and analytical approach, with a good level of numeracy. A commitment for continuous improvement and self-development.
