Location: Milton Keynes, GB Duration: Permanent Band & Salary: (Band 4b) £35,582-£42,218 We are looking for a Videographer to deliver corporate film and video production activity for Network Rail. The role involves the use of camera, lighting, sound and editing equipment, applying the latest techniques in digital content production to deliver audiovisual content that aligns with the company’s communications strategy. Content will be distributed across multiple digital channels, with a primary focus on social media platforms to maximise reach and engagement. The ideal candidate will work quickly, flexibly, and creatively to meet strict deadlines and produce high‑quality results. Responsibilities • Plan, film and edit digital video for major campaigns and evergreen communications using current production techniques and equipment. • Ensure all outputs meet Network Rail’s brand and accessibility standards and collaborate with internal stakeholders while managing multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment. • Create engaging, platform‑specific content for social media and other digital channels, applying innovative solutions and current trends to resonate with diverse audiences. • Maintain secure, compliant records for business needs and future archiving. • Support larger creative projects by collating information, implementing cost efficiencies, and reporting progress and cost‑saving measures to management. Essential Criteria Demonstrable experience shooting and editing digital video content for major brands, institutions or government departments. Strong technical knowledge of single‑camera operations, digital data wrangling, and editing with compliance to GDPR during backup procedures. Proficiency in lighting and sound techniques for high‑quality video production, including self‑shooting equipment set‑ups. Proven track record of implementing digital accessibility practices to enhance user experience. Experience tailoring video content for social media platforms, with specific examples. Full understanding of the film and video production process: script development, production logistics, stakeholder liaison, on‑site production, editing, and contributor management. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team, support larger creative projects, and report progress to management. Capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and use digital project‑management tools. Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated by resolving conflicts and fostering collaboration. Expertise with Adobe Suite, DaVinci Resolve, Shotcut, Excel and Word. Full UK driver’s licence.
