We are looking for an experience DevOps Architect / Senior Platform Engineer to work in Nottingham 3 days / week and 2 days working from home.As a DevOps Architect / Senior Platform Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in transforming DevOps practices. You'll work on high-impact projects in a dynamic industry, leveraging modern cloud-native technologies and automation tools. This role offers access to cutting-edge platforms like Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, and ISTIO, enabling you to design and implement robust CI / CD pipelines and containerized solutions.Your responsibilities :Lead architectural improvements and define scalable DevOps solutionsDesign and implement CI / CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and HelmAutomate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using AnsibleDrive containerization strategies using Docker and KubernetesIntegrate service mesh technologies like ISTIO for secure and reliable microservices communicationCollaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to deliver high-quality softwareConduct code reviews and enhance testing practices to ensure software reliabilityProvide support and incident response for developed automation solutionsMentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practicesMaintain and enhance knowledge bases and documentation for operational excellenceDelivery as per project scheduleYour ProfileEssential skills / knowledge / experience :DevOps CI / CD pipeline design and implementationKubernetes (Azure Kubernetes Service)Azure DevOps (ADO) - pipelines, container registry integrationHelm, Docker, IstioSonarQube, Elastic Stack (ELK)Application monitoring and loggingAutomation tools - Ansible, PuppetExperience with ALM tools - Jira, Confluence, Git, BitbucketStrong understanding of design patterns and Java 1.8Excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsDesirable skills / knowledge / experience :Unix / Linux system administrationExperience with Redshift, Nexus, ArtifactoryExposure to Agile methodologies and sprint planningFamiliarity with cloud-native security and compliance practices #J-18808-Ljbffr
