General working hours are 40‑48 hours per week. While shifts typically occur during the day, you may also be required to work evenings, nights, weekends and on-call rotations. You may need to work away from the depot if a company van is required. Your Role As a 12d Traffic Management Operative As a key member of our team, you will: Conduct traffic counts, gathering essential data and coordinating with clients and subcontractors. Maintain temporary traffic lights for safe and efficient traffic flow. Deploy, maintain and remove temporary traffic management equipment, including: Cones Signs Frames Sandbags Other essential equipment Mentor new trainees, sharing knowledge and guiding them as they learn the ropes. What We Are Looking For Qualifications: Minimum M1/M2, SLG Unit 2 considered. Knowledge: Familiarity with Chapter 8 regulations. Driving licence: Full licence with no more than 6 points; any driving bans must have expired at least 5 years ago. Testing: Must pass a drug and alcohol test (offer contingent on results). Attitude: Positive, can‑do mindset. Skills: Adaptability, flexibility, meticulous attention to detail. Flexibility: Able to work weekends, nights and away if required.
