About the Role Legal 500 is seeking a target-driven Business Development Manager to join our UK sales team. You’ll manage and expand relationships with top law firms, driving renewals and uncovering new opportunities across our suite of subscription, data, and digital products. We’re looking for someone confident in building relationships, passionate about achieving results, and eager to represent Legal 500. What You’ll Do Manage and grow a portfolio of existing law firm clients, ensuring strong renewal rates and long-term retention. Identify and win new business from firms not currently partnered with Legal 500. Sell across our full range of solutions — including core subscriptions, digital inventory, and data products. Qualify prospects, guide them through the full sales cycle, and consistently close deals. Meet and exceed individual and team revenue targets. Maintain a well-managed CRM pipeline with accurate forecasting and reporting. RepresentLegal500atindustryevents,clientmeetings,andconferences. What We’re Looking For Around 4 years of B2B sales experience, ideally within publishing, professional services, or data insights. Proven track record of renewals and new business growth in a target-driven environment. Confident communicator, able to engage with senior decision-makers and present with authority. Self-starter who thrives on autonomy and can hit the ground running. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deals and deadlines. Willingness and enthusiasm to travel across the UK for client meetings and events. Tech-savvy with experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
