About this Role: Our client is looking for a Technical Manager to work on a new project just outside of Wiltshire.Have you got what it takes to succeed The following information should be read carefully by all candidates.This project will be working on bespoke luxury developments.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a UK leading developer known for delivering exceptional projects across Wiltshire, Hampshire and Bristol with a vision to be the UK's leading and most trusted house builder.The role will suit someone that wants to work for a residential developer who are renowned for their luxury homes and small exclusive developments.You will be delivering these sites to budget, to agreed quality standards, safely, by motivating teams, and performing to the highest level.You will also be responsible for adhering to and always engaging with the quality management system and other company procedures.The Role: Undertake technical due diligence for new strategic land opportunities, including producing summary technical reports.Advise on potential infrastructure and abnormal cost allowances for development viability appraisals, commissioning external cost consultants where necessary.Provide technical assistance to the Land and Planning team during the promotion and planning application stages of development sites within the strategic land portfolio, to ensure projects are technically deliverable, optimised and technical risks are mitigated where possible.Provide technical assistance to the Joint Venture (JV) team on complex, often brownfield, JV projects.Produce, monitor and manage project delivery programmes to inform the wider development programme.Manage teams of external consultants responsible for producing Reserved Matters and detailed technical design packages for complex infrastructure on major projects.Manage the technical approval process and subsequent legal agreement process associated with the adoption of highways and drainage.Oversee the procurement process for infrastructure works packages, with the assistance of either internal commercial resource from the relevant house-building division or external cost consultants.Project manage the construction of complex strategic infrastructure works to an agreed programme and budget, to facilitate housebuilding on major projects.Ensure design and construction works are undertaken in accordance with the CDM Regulations and Crest Health and Safety procedures.Report to the CNPSL management team and departmental Directors in the house building divisions on progress, forecast programme, financial performance and other project specific metrics.To develop and maintain for the Company good relationships with all individual companies and organisations.To achieve an excellent reputation in the business by acting in a fair, firm, courteous and businesslike manner and ensuring that both written and verbal communication, internally and externally, is clear, accurate, relevant, properly timed and of good quality.Always assist in maintaining a safe working environment within Company workplaces and construction sites and applying the Company's Health & Safety Policy for their own, their colleagues, third parties and the public's benefit.Individuals must act to minimise danger and report all potential dangers and accidents to their immediate superior or designated Health & Safety Officer.About the Company/Client/Project: The client is an award-winning company that has been building homes for over 30 years and prides themselves in building bespoke, luxury homes.Their business is focused around Wiltshire, Hampshire and Bristol.Requirements including certificates and qualifications: Relevant professional qualification to either Degree, HNC/HND, NVQ Level 5.Chartered Membership of a recognised Professional body e.g.RICS, CIOB, CIAT, RIBA etc.A pro-active management style with capability to manage and coordinate the design team on challenging sites.Effective people management of direct reports, giving feedback, direction, support, and coaching.Skills including assertiveness, being decisive, flexible, good time management, organised, effective at chairing / participating in meetings, works well under pressure and to strict deadlines.What you will receive in return Salary ( company car allowance or company car) Pension contribution Healthy holiday allowance Stable project pipeline in the region Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK.d02fcfcb-6df4-40ee-95cf-3eb059ce3173
