Responsibilities Provide consistent, high‑quality medical input support to Adult Community team based at Brentwood Community Resources Centre, Brentwood. Work independently and provide clinical leadership to the team through good multi‑professional working. Have shared responsibility for the clinical care of those patients referred to the team and work closely with the consultant and team manager to ensure provision of an effective service to the patients in community. Work with consultants in the team, participate in MDT meetings, conduct MDT meetings and take responsibility as a senior clinician in the absence of the Consultant. Clinical supervision of trainees and medical support for patients under the care of Brentwood team. Qualifications Eligible for full registration with the GMC at time of appointment. Hold Section 12(2) approval under the Mental Health Act 1983. Evidence of achievement of ST1/CT1 competences in psychiatry at time of application and likelihood of achieving CT2 competences in psychiatry by the start date of the post.
