## Job vacancy information:Department:Research, Policy & ImpactLocation:Harrogate, North YorkshireSalary:£43,097.63 per annumClosing Date:15 December 2025Hours:Full-time, 37 hours per weekTerm:Permanent## Policy and Public Affairs Manager content## About the roleWe are currently looking for a Policy and Public Affairs Manager to join our Research, Policy and Impact team.Reporting to the Head of Cancer Insight, you will continue to develop and deliver a policy and public affairs strategy, including influencing at a local, regional, and national level, with the aim of helping the charity achieve its strategy and bringing benefit to the people of Yorkshire. You will develop evidence-based policy reports and recommendations that can be used to influence a variety of audiences and project manage the development, delivery and evaluation of public affairs campaigns and events. As Policy and Public Affairs Manager, you will also act as a source of expertise across the organisation and externally on key policy areas and the wider policy environment.To be considered for this role, you will need to have a degree in a relevant subject area, for example public policy, public health, scientific or medicine. The successful candidate will have substantial public affairs experience, show a real passion for policy work, including creating a strong evidence base to influence decision makers, will excel in relationship-building with external stakeholders and have experience of working on impactful campaigns and delivering change.For further details please refer to the role profile.## How to apply1.
