Led by our CEO Marc Murphy, our team thrives on solving real‑world challenges with smart, scalable, AI‑driven technology—making this an exciting time to join Fenergo and help shape the future of digital transformation. The Role The Technical Solution Consultant (Pre-Sales) is a trusted technical advisor and platform expert within Fenergo’s go‑to‑market organisation. Reporting to the Technical Director Client Solutions, this role partners with Solution Consultants, Sales Executives, and Product specialists to design and present robust, scalable, and secure technical architectures that demonstrate how Fenergo’s SaaS platform solves clients’ business and technology challenges. The role focuses on the technical and architectural depth of the platform — including SaaS architecture, APIs, integration patterns, data flows, security, and scalability — ensuring clients clearly understand how Fenergo’s technology works and why it is fit for their enterprise landscape and the value this provides. Key Responsibilities Technical Pre-Sales Engagement Act as the technical lead in sales cycles, representing the architecture and integration and security capabilities of Fenergo’s SaaS platform. Collaborate with Solution Consultants to align technical architecture with the proposed business solution. Participate in RFP/RFI responses, particularly in sections covering architecture, integrations, cloud operations, security, and performance. Deliver high‑impact technical presentations, demonstrations, and workshops for clients and partners. Articulate the SaaS delivery model and multi‑tenant architecture with clarity and confidence to technical and C‑level stakeholders. Platform Architecture & Design Design high‑level solution architectures showing how Fenergo integrates with clients’ existing ecosystems (CRM, data providers, screening providers, case management, downstream systems). Define integration patterns using Fenergo APIs, and data exchange mechanisms. Advise clients on how Fenergo supports SaaS best practices — connectivity, data residency, security, scaling, and high availability. Provide technical assurance that proposed solutions are feasible, performant, and aligned with Fenergo’s roadmap and standards. Partner with Product and Engineering teams to stay up to date on the latest architectural changes and roadmap enhancements. Proof of Concept (PoC) / Technical Validation Lead or support PoC design and execution, ensuring the client’s key technical success criteria are met. Build sample integrations, mock APIs, or configurations to validate/demonstrate technical fit. Document PoC outcomes and present results back to technical and senior teams within the client. Evangelism & Technical Expertise Serve as a platform evangelist, educating prospects, partners, and internal teams on Fenergo’s SaaS technology stack. Contribute to the creation of technical sales assets — architecture decks, whitepapers, demo environments, reference architectures. Continuously enhance technical credibility by staying current on cloud, API, and financial‑tech ecosystem trends. Essential Criteria 3+ years in a pre‑sales, solution engineering, or technical consulting role for an enterprise SaaS or software vendor. Strong knowledge of SaaS and cloud architecture (multi‑tenant design, high availability, resiliency, scaling). Hands‑on experience with API‑based integrations (REST/JSON, XML, message queues, event‑driven systems). Deep understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Familiarity with security models — SSO, OAuth2, encryption, and data residency/regulatory constraints. Excellent presentation and communication skills; able to simplify technical depth for mixed audiences. Proven experience creating and explaining architecture diagrams, data flow models, and deployment topologies. Strong commercial awareness: balances technical idealism with client value and sales strategy. Desirable Criteria Knowledge of financial services technology, especially KYC, AML, CLM, or regulatory onboarding solutions. Exposure to enterprise integration patterns (ESB, middleware, iPaaS). Experience supporting large, complex RFPs and vendor evaluations. Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and SaaS release models. What’s in it for you?
