ResponsibilitiesProvide MSK assessment, diagnosis and management of a variety of MSK conditions through clear clinical reasoning.Deliver MSK assessments and treatments in 1:1, group and virtual settings.Support the development of Band 5 physiotherapists, unregistered staff and undergraduate physiotherapy students.Collaborate with other teams/agencies to address support issues across MSK and pain conditions.Contribute to service development and delivery of local and Trust-wide projects.Participate in the MSK IST programme and receive regular clinical supervision.Ensure effective person‑centred care outcomes, followed by monitoring and evaluation.Role OverviewWe are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist to join our well‑established, innovative and friendly Musculoskeletal (MSK) Outpatient Team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity for staff who have completed their Band 5 rotations or who are looking to expand their existing clinical knowledge within MSK.Responsibilities include providing MSK assessment, diagnosis and management of a range of musculoskeletal conditions, supporting staff development, collaborating across teams, contributing to service improvement and participating in ongoing professional development.QualificationsRequired: Valid HCPC registration, evidence of clinical skills with patients presenting with a range of musculoskeletal conditions, capacity for autonomous decision‑making and problem‑solving, excellent communication skills, and empathy. A desire to expand knowledge and skills, ability to work flexibly and develop professional relationships, and evidence of contribution to service development/improvement are essential.Support and guidance will be provided from a team of experienced Advanced Physiotherapists, Advanced Practice Physiotherapists and Clinical Champions.
