JOB TITLE: Diabetes Care Technician**

**HOURS: 37.5 hours**
**DEPARTMENT: Specialist Community Diabetes Team**
**LOCATION: Community, Tamworth**
Are you looking for a new opportunity to work within a dynamic and forward-thinking community Diabetes service as a Care Technician?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Diabetes Care Technician to join our Community Diabetes Service across Staffordshire and Stoke-on Trent. The post holder will provide care to patients attending specialist clinics and or within their home setting. The post holder will also be assisting the specialist nurses to deliver education and training sessions to other health care professionals and patients.
We are looking for a passionate innovative person who is keen to share and develop their knowledge in Diabetes to continue the high standards of care delivered to our patients living with this Long Term Condition.
This post will be based at Tamworth, however the ability to travel independently between venues across Staffordshire and carry equipment is essential to the role.
If you are interested in making a difference to patients and families living with Diabetes and possess excellent communication, organisational skills and a flexible approach then we would like to hear from you.
