Overview This is a fixed‑term secondment for 10 months. Applicants must obtain permission from their current line manager before applying. The SLE Workforce Administrator will provide a professional and responsive customer and administrative service to resident doctors, dentists and trainee pharmacists across NHS Wales. They will be the first point of contact for any queries related to trainees’ employment and will liaise with the SLE team, HEIW, Health Boards and GP practices, supporting the entire employment journey from recruitment to completion of training programmes. Key Responsibilities Provide professional and responsive customer and administrative service to all trainee staff. Act as the first point of contact for trainees’ employment queries. Liaise with the SLE team, HEIW, Health Boards and GP practices. Support the annual recruitment programme and onboarding during busy changeover periods. Maintain all employment records of trainees, including personal files, sickness absence and employment requests. Triage calls and e‑mails, resolving routine queries. Provide comprehensive administrative support throughout the trainees’ employment journey. Qualifications / Requirements Experience working in a busy environment, with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Desirable: Ability to speak Welsh; Welsh and/or English speakers welcome.
