We’re looking for a talented Qlik Developer to join our Data Quality & Analytics team. In this role, you will design and deliver insightful dashboards and business analytics using Qlik, collaborating closely with business stakeholders.You will lead on best practices in data visualisation, user experience, and data quality, while supporting training and innovation across the organisation.If you are passionate about turning complex data into powerful business insights, we would like to hear from you.Role SummaryProduction and publication of underwriting and other business-based analytics as specified by the Director of Data Quality & Analytics and other stakeholders, using the Qlik technology platformSupporting the Qlik Technical Architect in the development of enterprise grade applications which address complex business problems and support a “single version of the truth” information strategyPerforming a leading role in the delivery of best practice dashboard and data visualisation design principles, analytical tools, general Information System usability and navigationClose liaison with senior colleagues Data Quality & Analytics function and the IT data warehouse department to help ensure source data requirements are serviced effectivelyLiaison with business representatives to ensure solutions are developed to a high standardAssistance with the training and education of employees to ensure suitable levels of user proficiencyDiagnosis and resolution of any defects identified within the Qlik dashboard and analytics suiteSupporting development of Data Quality Workflow tool rule set in SQL and utilising new data to develop management oversight dashboards in Qlik Knowledge and QualificationsKnowledge and QualificationsHigh proficiency with Qlik technology, including scripting language and advanced level set-analysisComprehensive understanding of data warehousing principles, ETL processes, data modelling, SQL and ExcelGeneral business acumen and ability to understand business needs and translate them into analytical requirementsStrong experience in Qlik based developmentProven successful background leading general business intelligence and data visualisation projectsStrong SQL skills for database querying and data manipulationExperience with complex data modelling and ETL processesFamiliarity with data warehousing concepts and tools preferably in an Insurance contextSkills collaborating with stakeholders including business users and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver solutionsKey AccountabilitiesAssistance in gathering and analysing user requirements to develop functional specifications and prototype solutions.Leading analysts and developers to design, code, test and deploy high performance Qlik software applicationsTesting and debugging of developed applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.Ensuring Qlik dashboards and content are consistent with specifications and meet standards established by the Director of Data Quality & AnalyticsProviding high quality technical solutions to complex business problems.All applicants must have the right to work in the UK #J-18808-Ljbffr
