Part Time Practice Nurse The Cedar Brook Practice is a 4‑partner, 3‑salaried GP training practice located in Hayes, with its own premises and a gated car park within easy reach of the A40 and M4 in west London. The practice has a list size of 10,600, a good CQC rating, uses EMIS and Docman, and achieves high QOF. We are seeking a part‑time practice nurse with general practice experience to join our friendly multidisciplinary team. Working 15‑20 hours per week, days/sessions to be agreed. Salary depends on experience plus a full NHS pension. Key responsibilities Chronic disease management – diabetes, asthma/COPD Child immunisation Women’s health / family planning (pill checks, depo injections) Management of clinical QOF targets Infection control Knowledge of CQC requirements Assist in clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives Support practice development and staff development Qualifications and experience Registered (first level) nurse; current NMC registration required Previous general practice experience Experience with long‑term conditions, vaccinations, and immunisations Evidence of reflective practice and accurate electronic record‑keeping Self‑directed, able to work independently and as part of a team Up‑to‑date clinical knowledge and competent IT skills Professional defence membership (RCN, MDU, CPHVA) preferred Other requirements Current UK professional registration Will undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service check Will work under the CQC guidelines and NHS policies Contract & benefits Permanent contract, full NHS pension, competitive hourly rate £22‑£26, flexible part‑time schedule.
