Position: Senior Residential Support Worker Location: Derby Salary: >£40,734 OTE – inclusive of sleep‑ins Role: Permanent Mayfield Recruitment are currently looking for a Senior Support Worker in the Derby area on a permanent basis. The role requires the delivery of high-quality, person‑centred care to all residents and will focus on 10‑17 year‑old children with EBD. This role does not offer sponsorship. Key Responsibilities: Help children and young people develop leisure interests and skills inside and outside the home. Implement personal care plans for children and young people. Assist with day‑care activities. Communicate with other staff about children and young people’s needs and activities. Record children and young people’s needs, activities and behaviours in the home’s diary system. Facilitate regular Service User meetings. Carry out key working sessions. Carry out risk assessments and reviews. Plan shifts and delegate tasks. Conduct conflict resolution and debriefs at the end of each shift. Required Qualifications and Experience: NVQ Level 3/Level 4 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) or QCF Level 4 Children, Young People & Families Practitioner qualification. At least 2 years of experience working with children with EBD and learning disabilities. Full UK driving licence. Willingness to carry out personal care. Benefits: Competitive pay. Company events.
