Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Assistant Technical Officer in the Community The closing date is 17 December 2025 An exciting opportunity for Band 3 Assistant Technical Officer's within the Cardio Respiratory units community team. To be an effective member of the Cardiorespiratory Department by providing a high standard of Cardiac Physiological service and patient care. It is understood that the post holder may possibly be required to participate in a flexible working hours system. Main duties of the job The member of staff will undertake a range of clinical physiology investigations, performing direct duties such as recording ECGs, fitting and removal of ambulatory monitoring devices. Assist in stock control of consumable items used in clinical physiology. Responsible for the safe use of departmental equipment. Recognize and confirm accuracy of reported equipment faults and ensure details are documented and appropriate steps taken for their correction. Ensure clean and tidy procedure environments are maintained. Assist with maintenance of local risk management policies.
