As an Application Solution Architect within our IT Architecture function, you will play a pivotal role in bridging business challenges with technology solutions. You’ll design and deliver robust, scalable, and secure architectures that align with enterprise standards and strategic objectives. This is a highly collaborative role, requiring engagement with stakeholders across business and IT to ensure solutions meet current needs and support future growth. What will I be doing? Lead the design of end‑to‑end solutions across application, data, integration, and infrastructure domains. Align technology solutions with business strategy and objectives, influencing architectural direction. Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements. Promote best practices in solution architecture and contribute to reusable frameworks and reference architectures. Provide technical leadership throughout the solution lifecycle, from concept to delivery. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies. What do I need? Proven experience in large‑scale, multi‑product organisations undergoing transformation, ideally in sectors like telecoms, utilities, automotive, or insurance. Broad technology expertise across on‑premises and cloud platforms, including migrations, upgrades, and Microsoft Dynamics solutions. Skilled in architectural modelling tools (e.g., Orbus, Abacus, Mega) with a strong ability to design scalable, secure solutions. Natural problem‑solver who is resourceful and able to manage complexity in fast‑paced environments. Excellent communicator and influencer, comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels to drive alignment and collaboration. Strategic thinker with integrity, adaptability, and the ability to prioritise effectively while working under broad direction.
