About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced and organised Team Leader – Administration to provide strategic oversight and coordination of administrative functions across our engineering and operational teams. This role combines strong leadership, governance, and process management, ensuring the delivery of efficient, high-quality administrative support across the business. The successful candidate will be a confident communicator, with exceptional organisational skills, proven experience in administrative leadership, and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast‑paced, regulated environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of administrative professionals, fostering high performance, efficient workload management, and continuous professional development. Maintain and oversee staff training records to ensure full compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Manage workforce records, including holiday, sickness, and absence, to support accurate reporting and operational planning. Ensure timely completion of mandatory site training and security clearance requirements for all personnel. Coordinate onboarding processes for new employees, including administrative and security clearance documentation. Support recruitment activities, including interviews, candidate assessment, and employee inductions. Conduct regular performance management activities, including one‑to‑one meetings, reviews, and probation assessments. Oversee and resolve system issues within Itracs, ensuring timely follow‑up and problem resolution. Perform monthly health and safety compliance checks in accordance with regulatory requirements. Act as subject‑matter expert for the company's timesheet system, providing guidance, training, and support. Undertake additional administrative and operational responsibilities as required to support business priorities. Candidate Profile Essential Skills and Experience Proven experience in a senior administrative, coordination, or team leadership role. Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Excellent organisational, planning, and prioritisation skills. Clear and confident communicator, both verbal and written. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams). Proactive, solution‑focused approach with a hands‑on mindset. Eligible for SC Clearance. Desirable Skills and Experience Experience within engineering, technical, or field service environments. Knowledge of administrative systems, governance, and operational procedures. ServiceNow knowledge or experience. SC Clearance.
