Job Overview This role drives organic business growth for the City Lettings Department, supporting the Head of City Lettings while acting as a senior team leader in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities Generate new business through proactive outreach, landlord engagement and portfolio growth activity. Conduct market appraisals and convert valuation opportunities into instructions. Drive revenue via effective fee negotiation, objection handling and strong commercial decision‑making. Support day‑to‑day departmental performance and cover senior duties when required. Maintain service standards, compliance, and operational discipline across the team. Build strong relationships with landlords, tenants and key partners to support service delivery. Monitor team KPI’s and contribute to department targets, letting performance metrics and income goals. Coach and develop letting team members to strengthen capability and drive high performance. Ensure accurate use of CRM platforms, online booking systems, and marketing portals. Skills and Experience Proven experience in residential lettings or sales, preferably in a city‑centre or high‑volume environment. Track record of business development, landlord acquisition and portfolio growth. Experience at senior or supervisory level, capable of supporting or leading a team. Strong communicator, able to influence landlords, negotiate fees and present service propositions. Target‑driven with commercial awareness and ability to meet KPI’s and revenue targets. Familiarity with CRM platforms and property portals. Excellent organisational skills, capable of independent decision‑making and managing competing priorities. Proactive, driven and able to work without constant supervision. Skilled at converting valuation opportunities and overcoming landlord objections. Excellent interpersonal skills, working effectively within a collaborative team environment. Demonstrated leadership capability, confident in setting standards and supporting team development.
