CT Radiographer – Countess of Chester HospitalWe are looking for an experienced CT Radiographer to join our dynamic and friendly CT team on a 12‑month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. The role is full‑time (37.5 hours per week) with weekend and out‑of‑hour duties and requires working across both the Countess of Chester Hospital and the community diagnostic hub at Ellesmere Port Hospital.The Trust operates four Canon CT scanners (three at the hospital and one at the hub) and offers a well‑established cardiac CT service in partnership with cardiology, stroke and trauma teams.ResponsibilitiesProduce high‑quality images across the spectrum of CT examinations.Manage and support band 5 radiographers and students.Ensure the smooth operation of the CT service.Maintain and monitor resources to meet service needs within budget constraints.Promote education and training within CT.Keep competency records up to date.Actively participate in CPD.Provide a 24/7 service to support the hospital’s safe and efficient CT service.QualificationsA BSc/DCR in radiography is essential. The successful applicant must be registered with the HCPC.Experience in CT within an acute NHS trust is essential.
