Personal Care Support for a gentleman 20 hr/wk@ £13.74/hr in Whitley bay - FTE - £26.8k Apply at UKCIL.com. Reference: 977c6950 I am a 58-year-old gentleman who lives independently in the Seaton Sluice area. I am looking to recruit a team of carers to support me with my daily living tasks to enable me to retain my independence. I am a fully capacitated individual, but I require somebody to provide physical support to do this. The support I require is: 1 hour AM call (supported by a second worker for 45 minutes) 7 days per week (Preferred time 9am/9:30am approximately) 45 minute PM call (supported by a second worker for 30 minutes) 7 days per week (Preferred time 5pm/5:30pm approximately) Tasks include: Supporting me with all personal care including bathing, dressing, toileting Supporting me to maintain my hydration and nutrition by preparing meals and snacks when my family are not available to support with this. Being physically able to support with all transfers and hoisting Supporting with medication administration as required or when my family are not available to support with this. The ideal applicant will: Be experienced in supporting individuals with personal care and moving/handling tasks Be local to the Seaton Sluice area Have a great sense of humour and engage in banter whilst working Be chatty and full of life Show a good degree of initiative Have the ability to learn on the job and adapt accordingly The successful applicant will be required to undergo a full, enhanced disclosure and barring certificate and the full cost will be met by the employer. References will be requested and one of these must be your most recent employer. Where appropriate full training will be provided and this will be in the form of face to face, on the job and online training as required.
