Role Overview We are currently seeking Lecturers to teach across a range of undergraduate levels as part of our BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. Due to our delivery model, we require flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings and at weekends. Responsibilities Plan, deliver and assess student work, ensuring all learning outcomes are met. Develop, update and improve course materials as appropriate. Use a variety of learning and teaching methods and materials. Actively engage in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and other administrative duties. Keep up to date with latest developments in your field and student support practices. Work towards clearly defined objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and progression. About You Hold a Master’s degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable). Have previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area. Be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter. Have experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback. Have experience of accurate reporting and the ability to maintain thorough and organised student records. Be able to work under pressure, plan and prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines. Have excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills. Be able to work with diverse groups of people. Desirable Hold a Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice, or equivalent teaching qualification (or commitment to enrol on a teaching programme during probation and complete within three years), or HEA Fellowship (or international equivalent). Have experience of design / development of academic or professional education programmes or equivalent.
