Academy Performance Analyst U9-U14 | LCFC 7 December 2025 | Analysis Academy Performance Analyst U9-U14 | Leicester City FC (Jobs in Sports Performance Analysis) About The Role & Who We’re Scouting We’re on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Academy Performance Analyst to join our squad at Leicester City Football Club. As Academy Performance Analyst, you’ll play a key role in working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high quality Performance Analysis support to aid the individual development of our players. Your responsibilities will include Filming identified FP (Foundation Phase) and YDP (Youth Development Phase) fixtures, with a focus on the U9 to U14 age-groups. Film training as per the requests of the coach and department management, conduct match and player coding to provide team and individual statistical and video content against Category 1 and 2 opposition. On occasions, prepare/deliver pre-match tactical and objective information for players and coaches, prepare post-match presentations and evaluate team tactics and match objectives in line with our playing philosophy. In conjunction with the coaches, provide individual player feedback. You will also provide analysis to FP ages as requested by coaches and Academy Lead Performance Analyst. You’ll need to possess excellent presentation skills, accuracy and attention to detail, demonstrating honesty, integrity, reliability and the ability to ensure confidentiality at all time. You will possess strong time management skills and have a flexible approach to work whilst being able to communicate in different mediums, listen, interpret and convey information in a clear and accurate manner whilst providing timely delivery of information by selecting the most appropriate method of communication. You’ll need a minimum 2:1 Sports Science/Performance Analysis or other relatable degree and be well-versed in using SportsCode analysis software programs.
