The successful candidate will work closely with Professor Neil Walsh and his team on an industry-funded research programme extending recently published work. Find out more about our recent research here.ResponsibilitiesYou will be expected to take a lead role in all aspects of the programme of work, including: study design; ethical approval; the day-to-day running and administration of the research programme; the implementation of interventions; assisting in the collection and interpretation of data; and the production of technical reports and manuscripts for publication.Qualifications and experienceYou should have completed a PhD in a relevant subject area e.g., nutrition, human physiology, health psychology, exercise science. Experience of leading high-level research projects is essential, as is experience of biological sample collection (including venous blood collection), handling, storage (in accordance with GLP), biochemical analysis and an awareness of quality control techniques. Experience of publishing in high quality journals is desirable as is experience of working with industry sponsors.
