Finance Business Partner

Role Overview We are searching for a Finance Business Partner for our Technology & Consumer Business Unit, with a base site in Doncaster, Middlewich or Lutterworth (location is flexible). Leading GXO Finance teams across multiple sites, you’ll bring strong commercial insight and thought leadership across Open and Closed Book contracts in both warehousing and transport. You’ll juggle complex stakeholder demands, from our Operational Directors, Finance Directors, Central Teams and customers, whilst owning Business Unit reporting, driving Gainshare performance, and championing continuous improvement. This full‑time, permanent position is predominantly Monday‑Friday office hours with moderate travel required, working at least three days a week in your base location and additional travel for customer reviews and site visits. Responsibilities Ensure robustness of accounting within GXO and visibility of results to the customer through weekly and period reporting. Confirm clarity of balance sheets across each contract area to present to customers and satisfy internal SOX requirements, identifying any risks or opportunities. Conduct weekly and monthly customer reviews and produce periodic/monthly review packs. Lead robust annual budgeting and monthly forecasting. Lead financial controls regarding Gainshare and its elements of the contract. Analyse financial impacts of projects for inclusion in business cases as part of the change team. Qualifications Proven experience in a similar fast‑paced Finance Business Partner role. Strong understanding of open book contracts. Experience in the distribution sector or similar in size and complexity is highly desirable. Experienced in identifying cost efficiencies and potential savings. Exposure to building strong business relationships with both internal and external customers. Fully CIMA or ACCA (or equivalent) qualified, essential.
