Asset Management Consultant / Senior Asset Management Consultant – Lead the delivery of advisory projects, providing end‑to‑end trusted advice in asset management investment planning, asset management strategies, risk management, information management, reliability‑centred maintenance, and data analytics. You will play a vital role in growing the business, connecting with clients and colleagues to create opportunities and enhancing the Mott MacDonald brand. Responsibilities Lead the delivery of advisory projects, managing concurrent priorities across the team. Support, manage, and direct junior staff, providing leadership and technical guidance. Provide end‑to‑end trusted advice on asset management investment planning, strategies, risk management, information management, reliability‑centred maintenance and data analytics. Build and nurture client relationships to generate new business opportunities. Stay abreast of industry best practice and proactively represent Mott MacDonald in the asset management market. Candidate Specification Proven track record in asset management within at least one of the key growth sectors: Water, Buildings, Rail, Aviation or Defence. Experience in management consultancy or asset management delivery. Strong technical knowledge of asset management capabilities and tools. Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), or Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Experience developing asset management capabilities and maturing organisational approaches. Recent experience in an infrastructure or engineering sector, ideally strategy‑focused or operational roles. Strong delivery skills and project management experience. Eagerness to develop new skills and expand knowledge within asset management. Ability to lead projects and manage a team of consultants. Creative problem‑solving skills and ability to diagnose issues and develop tailored solutions. Institute of Asset Management certificate or diploma desirable.
